Farm Rescue: Help during a crisis
When injury or illness knocks a Midwest farmer out of the driver’s seat, Farm Rescue steps in.
Farm Rescue and its network of volunteers assist farm families who need help handling fieldwork during critical seasons. The team has tractors, planters, and haying and harvest equipment positioned to deploy to fields in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska and South Dakota. CHS is a longtime sponsor of Farm Rescue with collaboration from many CHS locations.
CHS SunPrairie was one of the first CHS locations to support Farm Rescue. Employees there often use CHS Days of Service hours to volunteer with the organization. In the sponsor video below, Brad Haugeberg, general manager, CHS SunPrairie, describes the CHS and Farm Rescue partnership, why it is so important and how it has evolved.
