ABOUT STEWARDSHIP
Cooperative value
Cooperatives are owned and governed by members who use its products, supplies, or services and operate in many sectors of the economy. In a cooperative system, people come together to scale buying power, gain access to goods and services and create economic opportunity.
Careers
At CHS, our teams work together to provide the products, services and expertise farmers and cooperatives need to feed a growing population. As a CHS employee, you help empower agriculture by creating connections that bring shared success.
Making a Difference: CHS Donation Drive-Thru
The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and recent social unrest have amplified the significant economic hardship many are facing in our communities.
In response – and in true cooperative spirit – 80 CHS employees in the Twin Cities recently came together to show there is, indeed, strength in numbers by rallying to donate 2,700 items to help neighbors in our local communities. Click here for a glimpse of the CHS Donation Drive-Thru in action.
Collectively, CHS donations will make a positive impact on the basic quality of life for hundreds of area residents who are dealing with challenging circumstances.
Over the course of the three-day event, an additional 30 employee volunteers donated more than 60 volunteer hours to collect donations and sort boxes brimming with cleaning products, toothpaste, diapers, soap and more. The donations were sent to YWCA, Hallie Q. Brown and Boys and Girls Club to be distributed to families in need. The three recipient charities are each embedded in the communities impacted by recent unrest and serve as a hub for collecting and distributing resources, including the supplies donated by CHS employees.
