Hear from CHS Leaders at Farmfest Virtual

Every August, Farmfest draws thousands of ag professionals to southern Minnesota for a trade show that includes educational sessions and political forums covering ag policy, economy, health and safety, and more. This year, Farmfest is going virtual and the forums will be hosted digitally. 

As a Farmfest presenting sponsor, CHS continues to demonstrate commitment to sharing valuable information with our owners and customers. CHS experts will speak during two educational sessions at the virtual show:  

• The Current State of the Ag Economy, Aug. 4, 1:30 p.m. CDT, with Jason Schwantz, senior vice president, refined fuels 
• AgTalks Town Hall: Trade, Supply Chains and the Future of American Agriculture, Aug. 5, 8:30 a.m. CDT, with John Griffith, senior vice president, CHS Global Grain Marketing and CHS Hedging.   

CHS is also sponsoring the 2020 Farmfest Woman Farmer of the Year award, created to recognize the role of women in farming and their essential contributions to the success of farming operations. Sarah Engstrom, chief information security officer and vice president of productivity and privacy, will represent CHS during the virtual Women in Agriculture ceremony and was a member of the selection committee for the award. The ceremony takes place on Aug. 6 at 10:30 a.m. CDT.
