ABOUT STEWARDSHIP
Cooperative value
Cooperatives are owned and governed by members who use its products, supplies, or services and operate in many sectors of the economy. In a cooperative system, people come together to scale buying power, gain access to goods and services and create economic opportunity.
Careers
At CHS, our teams work together to provide the products, services and expertise farmers and cooperatives need to feed a growing population. As a CHS employee, you help empower agriculture by creating connections that bring shared success.
New resource supports member cooperative talent needs
A new resource from CHS will help member cooperatives find leadership talent.
CHS has introduced a new resource to help member cooperatives address key talent needs. The Member Cooperative Job Board displays leadership opportunities at member cooperatives, including openings for CEO, CFO, controller, human resources leads and division/department heads.
Any CHS member cooperative can submit a job opening, which will link to the position posting or the co-op website so potential candidates can learn more and connect with the co-op directly.
“Finding talented individuals to help member cooperatives address owner and business needs today and in the future is a key concern for CHS,” says Mark Biedenfeld, who leads the cooperative resources team at CHS. “As we work with member co-ops on strategic talent planning, one recurring need shared by co-op leaders is the need for new ways to identify and attract talented people to the cooperative system. The new Member Cooperative Job Board is one tool to help meet that need.”
To submit a job opening, member cooperatives can visit the site and complete a brief form. Following verification of the information, the opening will be posted on the job board for 90 days. All communication with candidates will be handled by the cooperative making the posting, and CHS will neither promote nor recommend specific openings or candidates.
