What we do
Since launching our transportation services in 1973, CHS transportation and logistics has grown to have one of the nation’s largest private truck fleets, logging nearly 35 million miles annually, with specialized equipment and professionally trained employees. We also have a vast network of third-party carriers to provide a unique combination of logistics services. Our size and scale allow us to create custom transportation and logistics solutions to meet the needs of agribusiness, cooperatives, and commercial customers.
As one of the largest private transportation companies in North America, CHS transportation and logistics has the flexibility and knowledge to collaborate with a network of carriers to scale our logistical offerings to meet each customer’s individual needs. Drawing from decades of training and experience, our logistics management teams offer customers unique insights to improve and streamline their operations.
Our tank-monitoring system sends an automatic notification of your tank levels and fuel usage trends to our central dispatch office, alerting us before your tank runs low. Our automated fuel delivery system, designed to serve our agricultural retail customers, ensuring you’ll have fuel when and where you need it.
A variety of Cenex® brand fuels can be delivered to commercial businesses, farms, ranches and private homes.

Our central dispatch office is open 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., 7 days a week, 365 days a year and handles all CHS transportation and logistics dispatches across the U.S. and Canada. Dispatchers offer real-time solutions, direct connections to our fleet’s on-board computers and our state-of-the-art monitoring technology all in one central customer service center.
