CHS recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies®

Receives business integrity honor for second consecutive year.
Mar 18, 2026

We are excited to announce that CHS has been recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies® by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. This is the second time CHS has been recognized and the company is one of only nine honorees in the food, beverage and agriculture category. In 2026, a total of 138 honorees were recognized spanning 17 countries and 40 industries.

“We are proud to receive this global recognition for our ongoing commitment to business integrity through world-class ethics, compliance and governance practices,” says Jay Debertin, president and CEO. “As a member of the cooperative system, we owe it to our owners, customers and communities to act with integrity and conduct business in an ethical manner. Our employees are the ones who made this possible by bringing our core value of integrity to their daily work and interactions.”

At CHS, our daily efforts to create connections to empower agriculture are intentionally guided by our core values of integrity, safety, inclusion and cooperative spirit. Our CHS Code of Conduct gives employees a road map for doing the right thing and making good decisions. And if something doesn’t line up with our values or the CHS Code of Conduct, our culture empowers employees to raise their hand and say something.

To be considered for the World's Most Ethical Companies designation, companies must provide more than 240 proof points on practices that support robust ethics and compliance; governance; a culture of ethics; environmental and social impact; and initiatives that support a strong value chain. The data undergoes qualitative analysis by a panel of experts who spend thousands of hours vetting and evaluating each year's applicants. The assessment process captures best-in-class ethics and compliance practices from organizations across industries and from around the world and recognizes superior performance.
