Cooperative Leadership Academy classes
Developed by CHS Cooperative Resources, Cooperative Leadership Academy programs are developed to help leaders continue developing their skills. Our catalog offerings cover a broad spectrum of topics, including advanced financing tools and effective coaching skills.
Sales training
Strengthen your sales team through Action Selling training. This industry-leading program will allow you to differentiate your company, your products and services, and your sales from your competitors.
Commodity hedging classes
CHS Hedging programs are geared toward helping businesses and individuals better understand and establish long-term commodity price risk management. Classes are offered at specific times but can be customized and delivered on-site upon request.
Food safety training
Certified by the National Restaurant Association, the ServSafe program provides food safety training and addresses food safety challenges. This one-day course includes the nationally-recognized certification exam.
Events
CHS Owners Forums
CHS Owner Forums take place annually and allow member-owners to engage in business updates, ask questions, learn about trends, participate in workshops and share their thoughts about working together for long-term success.
CHS New Leaders Forum
The CHS New Leaders Forum is exclusively designed for next-generation cooperative owners to further develop leadership skills, learn about opportunities to serve and advocate on behalf of the cooperative system, and meet other young farmers and ranchers from across the country.
CHS Annual Meeting
CHS leaders share news, financial updates and coming-year initiatives with stakeholders at the Annual Meeting held each year in early December. Check out the recap from last year’s meeting.
CHS Cooperative Leadership Conference
This bi-annual event is designed for cooperative leaders, including board members, CEOs/GMs and department managers, to strengthen their leadership skills, learn valuable strategies from industry experts and help their cooperatives grow through networking opportunities.
