Employee spotlight: Devin Wirth

In his job as a CHS technical specialist, Devin Wirth tests products in the lab, researches them in the field and works with farmers to make sure the products they buy from CHS are meeting their expectations.
Devin Wirth describes himself as an “adjuvant nerd.”
That’s because he loves talking about adjuvants — additives that improve the performance of crop protection products — in his role as a CHS technical specialist in Fargo, N.D.
“Adjuvants are not very well known by customers, but we have a great lineup of products,” he says. “To go from OK weed control to great weed control — that’s important.”
Wirth tests products in the lab, researches them in the field and works with farmers in northern Minnesota and eastern North Dakota to make sure the products they buy from CHS are meeting their expectations.
“My favorite part about being a technical specialist is being an unbiased source of information for my customers,” he says. “When I give them an answer, they know it’s my direct opinion.”
