At CHS, we create connections to empower agriculture and strive to make a difference on behalf of our owners. The annual CHS Stewardship Report highlights the ways CHS gave back and made a difference in 2020.
The report features a snapshot of the 2018-2020 goals CHS Stewardship was able to accomplish through strong partnerships with cooperatives, charitable organizations and CHS employees.
- Through CHS Community Giving, CHS funded agricultural health and safety training, provided matching grants to cooperatives and pitched in through CHS Days of Service. In 2020, we also sprang into action to support COVID-19 response efforts and mental health programs in rural communities.
- Through the CHS Foundation, we continued to nurture ag leaders for lifelong success by investing in university partnerships, cooperative education and youth leadership programs. Demonstrating our commitment to inclusion and integrity, we supported new initiatives encouraging diverse students to pursue agricultural careers. We also helped set up students for success at 25 colleges as distance learning ramped up.
As we continue to collaborate and build more connections that will empower agriculture far into the future, CHS Stewardship has outlined new initiatives for 2021 through 2023. These goals highlight our renewed emphasis on creating strong partnerships and making investments that will enrich communities and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.
