Building homes and living out the cooperative spirit

Oct 14, 2021

CHS president and CEO Jay Debertin recently co-chaired the 20th Annual Habitat for Humanity CEO Build. CEOs from 19 Twin Cities companies rolled up their sleeves and framed a garage, primed and painted walls, installed siding and hung drywall on three homes. They also learned more about the affordable housing crisis.

“I enjoyed living out the cooperative spirit and supporting my community,” says Debertin. “It’s empowering to see the impact we can all make when we work together, and I encourage CHS employees to use their volunteer time to make a positive impact in their own communities.”
