CHS experts discuss the state of sustainable aviation fuel

In the global push to lower carbon emissions across the aviation industry, sustainable aviation fuel, or SAF, has been targeted as a core solution. Farmers and fuel producers could play a key role in decarbonizing the future of flight, but early hurdles are impacting this emerging market.

Ron Batey, CHS senior director, refined fuels operations, pricing and economics, Dan Mauer, CHS Washington representative, and Mike Van Houten, CHS senior director for continuous improvement discuss the state of the sustainable aviation fuel market today and the factors that could impact future production and adoption.
