A message about how COVID-19 may impact Cooperative Leadership Academy classes.
How COVID-19 may impact Cooperative Leadership Academy classes
Member Cooperative Leaders:
CHS Cooperative Resources shares your concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak. We know you have questions about training sessions moving forward due to the uncertainty around COVID-19.
We want you to know that our event and workshop participants, trainers and event space support staff are our highest priority. Like you, we are monitoring news of event cancellations, school closings, travel restrictions and declarations of states of emergency.
In addition to temporary cancellation policy adaptations, we are looking at ways we can provide learning opportunities through virtual technologies. We will share information on our progress as it becomes available.
What happens if an event is cancelled?
Given continued uncertainty related to COVID-19, we may not be able to communicate a decision on specific programs until closer to the actual timing of the event. If an event is cancelled or postponed, or if participants do not feel safe attending an event due to COVID-19 concerns, we will waive the normal cancellation fee. Please let us know as soon as possible if a participant wishes to cancel so we can work with our hotel partners on changes. We will be communicate with you along the way to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for your employees. If that means rescheduling an event, we will waive cancellation fees for potential attendees if they are not able to attend the rescheduled event.

By learning how to speak and be heard (and encouraging others to do the same), you’ll surface the best ideas, make the highest-quality decisions, and then act on your decisions with unity and commitment. Whenever you’re not getting the results you want, it’s likely an important conversation either hasn’t happened or hasn’t been handled well. In fact, both individual and organizational success are largely determined by how quickly, directly, and effectively we speak up when it matters most. At the heart of healthy and high-performance organizations are people willing and able to hold Crucial Conversations.
